Creative Collaborations

In addition to my studio practice, I occasionally collaborate on special projects that bring art into new spaces and moments. These collaborations allow for play, experimentation, and storytelling in entirely new formats, without losing the signature sensibility that defines my work.

If you have a vision for a project that deserves a personal, painted touch, I’d love to hear from you.

A dress painted with meaning

Client: Cristina Tridente (Couture + Love + Madness)

Project Description:
In an intimate creative partnership with designer Cristina Tridente of Couture + Love + Madness, I was commissioned to hand-paint her custom wedding gown—a one-of-a-kind piece that blended fashion, art and family legacy.

Creative Elements:

  • A bespoke design painted directly onto the dress fabric before construction

  • Motifs included dahlias, prickly pears, olive branches, fish, a custom crest featuring the names of the bride, groom, and their grandparents—each symbolising deeply personal and generational stories.

  • Hand-painted parasols, linen napkins, and tablecloths to accompany the gown and unify the visual language of the celebration

Outcome:
Set against the coastal cliffs of Positano, the hand-painted gown became the centrepiece of a celebration rooted in heritage and emotion. Every element of the event carried a brushstroke of meaning—transforming a wedding into an immersive, personal artwork.

Press & Media Feature:
This collaboration was featured in The Advertiser (print and online) under the headline: A Blooming Masterpiece

“The couture gown was hand-painted by Adelaide artist Tiziana Rinna and adorned with floral symbols and words that have special meaning to the bride and her family. The process took over 100 hours of painting, 50 hours of sewing, 1000s of beads, and 25 metres of fabric to complete.”

A festival in full bloom

Event: Vogue Festival, Adelaide – Rundle Mall Activation
Client: Jurlique (in partnership with Vogue Festival and Rundle Mall)

Project Description:
As part of Vogue Festival’s vibrant three-day program, I was invited to participate in a unique collaboration with luxury skincare brand Jurlique. Set in the heart of Adelaide’s Rundle Mall, this activation brought together couture fashion, botanical beauty, and live artistry in a way that celebrated creativity and sensory experience.

In a partnership that celebrated nature, couture and creativity, I hand-painted a couture gown designed by Cristina Tridente from Couture + Love + Madness with delicate, botanical-inspired detailing. This one-of-a-kind piece was created live during the event, showcasing the process of merging fine art and high fashion in real time.

Alongside the feature gown collaboration, Cristina Tridente designed a limited run of face masks, which I then hand-painted with expressive, floral, and abstract motifs. These wearable artworks were distributed to attendees throughout the day, offering a personal and interactive connection between the audience and the artwork.

Creative Elements:

  • Concept development inspired by Jurlique’s organic skincare heritage

  • Live hand-painting of garments during public festival hours

  • Collaboration with Cristina Tridente to align garment design with painted elements

  • Engagement with attendees and integration into a multi-brand fashion activation

Outcome:
The collaboration brought together three creative worlds—fashion, beauty, and visual art—in a public-facing celebration of design and craftsmanship. Each mask was a unique, hand-painted piece given to festival-goers, turning everyday items into small-scale works of art. The live-painted dress became the centrepiece of Jurlique’s activation and was later featured across local media coverage.
